Marbling is so charming! We’re making these beautiful homemade Christmas ornaments that everyone in the family can help make!

Since our marbling projects did so well this year, we decided to make DIY marbled ornaments!! We tried a few different ways to make them (a spray paint method, dip method and a similar method we did for these) and found that the easiest and most effective way is actually very simple!!

We ended up just using enamel paint (has to be enamel!), clear ornaments and a little water to create these colorful ornaments and they turned out festive and beautiful! See the how-to below and happy crafting!!

How To Make These Homemade Christmas Ornaments – Step By Step

    Swirl a little water in the ornaments (about a tablespoon and then dump it out completely.)
    Pour the enamel paint into the ornament. You can use wooden skewer sticks to help move it around to different areas on the glass before you start to marble.
    We found the best way to get the paint to marble and move together, is by tapping the ornament against your hand in a circular motion. Make sure you hold the opening closed with your finger and a paper towel.
    Once the entire inside of the ornament is coated, place it back in the plastic container it came in to dry for 24 hours, with the opening facing up.
    Within the 24 hours, turn the ornament to different sides a few times so the paint doesn’t settle in one area. So Be creative and enjoy!
